Hi! I am a DONA-certified Birth Doula, professional birth photographer, and placenta encapsulator in the Wiesbaden, Germany area. I love helping and watching women grow into confident mothers who think for themselves and follow their instincts. I am a huge fan of natural parenting techniques such as cloth diapering, babywearing, breastfeeding, bedsharing, baby-led weaning, and free-range parenting, but above all, I am a fan of following an educated, personal code of conduct that is unshaken by all the outside influences that rattle our brains daily as modern mothers. I believe that anything is possible in birth. Each mother knows best for her own child, and I like to work to uphold that for every mom.
I have seen homebirths, waterbirths, VBACs, HBACs, cesareans, natural hospital births, epidurals, big babies, little babies, and all kinds of doctors, midwives, moms, dads and families. And it is all beautiful to me! I try to convey the beauty of childbirth through my photography work, and just like in doula work, I am always learning something new.
I serve a 50-kilometer radius around Wiesbaden, including Mainz and Frankfurt, and have access to base/post housing.
